Freeman Wins Brandon Hall Group Silver Award for Learning Excellence

DALLAS (October 6, 2015) – Freeman, the leading global provider of brand experiences, and MLink, a custom interactive learning solutions and knowledge technology provider, have won a coveted Brandon Hall Group Silver award for excellence.

Freeman submitted the Great People = Great Decisions program for this prestigious award. This second-generation customer service program is a mandatory part of employee training at Freeman. Winning in the category of Best Use of Games and Simulations, Great People = Great Decisions is a complex simulation with innovative design and programming.

“We all like to win awards, but it’s especially gratifying to be recognized for something that puts a spotlight on our commitment to uncompromising customer service,” said Bob Priest-Heck, Freeman president and chief operating officer. “At Freeman, we believe that people are the true ‘killer app’ – and that technology is best used when it lets our people be their best. This award is a reflection of the company’s ongoing commitment to provide innovative learning opportunities for our employees.”

“The high quality of work and commitment to driving business results among our award winners never fails to amaze me,” said Rachel Cooke, chief operating officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program. “All of these winning programs deliver meaningful business results to their organizations. Winning an excellence award is a great honor, but the real winners are the organizations themselves, and their customers and clients, because of the innovation and customer focus they demonstrate.”

Excellence award winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference Jan. 27-29, 2016, at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Selected winners also will serve as presenters in the more than 20 breakout sessions during the 2½-day conference.

“We see the conference as an extension of our awards program that features leading and best practices from some of the best organizations in the world,” Brandon Hall Group CEO Mike Cooke said. “Where else can you learn from, and interact with, leaders of organizations whose HCM (Human Capital management) programs are validated by an international panel of judges as having a direct impact on the business? We see our conference as a unique opportunity to learn from, and network with, the very best our industry has to offer in the U.S. and abroad.”

The entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group senior analysts and executive leadership based upon the following criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation and overall measureable benefits.
