DALLAS, TX — Freeman, the global leader in events, has once again been named to Forbes Best Employers for Women list ranking Top 5 in the business services and supplies category and 83 out of 400 overall. This is the third consecutive year Freeman has been recognized by Forbes as a Best Employer for Women and has also been previously recognized as Best Large Employer.
“It’s an honor to be included on this list and confirms that Freeman is not only one of the best places to work in our industry, but also among some of the country’s top employers,” said Bob Priest-Heck, CEO. “We’ve been working hard to advance the careers of our team which you can see when you look at our executive team, our governance committee, our board, and throughout our team of more than 4,000 employees. It’s incredible to make this list again, and we intend to continue taking action to ensure we’re living up to this incredible honor.”
The Best Employers for Women were identified through an independent survey of more than 50,000 employees working part or full-time in organizations of 1,000 or more employees, direct recommendations from employees, and indirect recommendations from the wider business community, as well as the diversity among the top executives and board members.
“We’re humbled to continue to win this award and are committed to mentoring, supporting and enabling women—and all team members—to thrive and grow personally and professionally,” said Janet Dell, President and COO. “At Freeman, and as an industry, it’s important that we continue to attract, enable and retain people from all backgrounds to help diversify and grow our business.”
Freeman’s continued recognition as a Best Employer for Women is reflective of its continued focus and ongoing progress, which began more than 10 years ago with Freeman Forward, an initiative initially focused on female development that evolved into the work Freeman is doing with IDEA. From Freeman’s FIGs (Freeman Interest Groups), to consistent reviews of its benefits offerings to ensure they meet employee needs, Freeman is committed to the wellbeing and success of all its employees.
