Chief Information Officer

Sanjay serves as Chief Information Officer at Freeman, where he leads the company’s global IT operations teams and drives digital transformation initiatives. In this role, he oversees Freeman’s enterprise-wide technology strategy, focusing on innovation and operational excellence. Sanjay partners across the organization to align technology strategies with business objectives while fostering collaboration and driving digital innovation.

Before joining Freeman, Sanjay was CIO and EVP at Republic National Distributing Company. He led a team of technology professionals and implemented automation and AI solutions, improving operations and managing technology integrations during mergers. Prior to that, as CIO at E&J Gallo Winery, he transformed IT into a self-sustaining partner, delivering over 300 initiatives annually. He also held leadership roles at ING/Voya Financial.

Sanjay holds a Master of Science in Business Logistics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics/International Business from Pennsylvania State University, with additional studies at L’Ecole de Commerce et d’Industrie in Paris. He is fluent in English, French, Hindi, and Marathi.
